Charlevoix Dem Joins Protest against Right-Wing Program

Suzanne Skubick (top left) joins protesters outside a Michigan Conservative Coalition-sponsored meeting titled Parents and Pancakes in Boyne City on Saturday, Aug. 19. The meeting was held to present a right-wing attack on what the Conservative Coalition calls a “predatory ideology being secretly promoted” by our public schools.

Thanks to Sandra, Candy, Cathy, Linda, Suzanne and about six others for voicing progressive, rational, fact-based views. The protest resulted from discussions held in the “Can We Talk?” Democratic women’s group weekly get togethers.

The sign-making session this week at our regular meeting was a success. Thanks to Candy, Sandra and Ellen for their helping to make signs at the Women’s Group’s 10 a.m. Wednesday meeting at the Boyne Veteran’s Pavilion. Please join the group every Wednesday morning at 10.
